The 'Multi Scoop Pro' has been designed as a shapeshifting solution for paramedics that would allow them to maintain more control over a patient during transport. The unit is capable of being transformed from a stretcher to a wheelchair in just seconds, which would alleviate some of the stress placed on paramedics as they transport patients. The lightweight design of the stretcher comes in at just 22 pounds and can be securely locked into place to keep the occupant as safe as possible.
The 'Multi Scoop Pro' is the design work of Dutch design firm Studio Rotor in collaboration with Retter Helfer Medical. The solution is presently in the design phase with a prototype in the works for debut towards the end of 2019.
