Quantum Designs the New Progressive Wheeliy 2.0

Japanese design studio Quantum has been a driving force in design and the latest progression is its Wheeliy 2.0 wheelchair. It was made with the collaborative help of medical equipment manufacturer Molten. The second iteration of the chair ensures lighter weight and more seamless use. The studio notes that “Wheeliy 2.0 is a wheelchair that further evolves the concept of the previous model of achieving unrestricted mobility in society.”
The overall weight of the wheelchair has been reduced and elevated by simple mechanisms that make moving around much easier. The Wheeliy 2.0 comes in the range of eight kilograms, which makes it lightweight and eases mobility. To create the mainframe of the chair, the studio used magnesium and carbon fiber for the wheels.
