Photographers are going to dig the Mountkestrel Duopod designed by Ben Millett. This unique device combines the functions of a tripod and chest mount into one package.

The Mountkestrel Duopod can be bent into different shapes depending on the needs of the photographer. The bottom legs of the Duopod do all the bending, while the upper legs come with handles for steadying purposes when using the Duopod in the chest mount position. I'm not the biggest photo buff, but even I can see the usefulness of the Mountkestrel Duopod. Combining two to three photography essentials into one not only saves money and space, it's also just plain smart to do. No word on when or if the Mountkestrel Duopod will be released, but you can see conceptual images as well as a video of the finished product here.
