On Sunday, May 8th, KFC Canada will be offering customers a special bucket that allows them to record Mother's Day messages. While KFC may not seem like an obvious choice for a Mother's Day meal, the holiday is actually one of the chain's most profitable days. This year, KFC is taking advantage of the Mother's Day crowd by giving customers a unique way to show mom how much they care.
The new recordable bucket will be available to those who order the Mother's Day Feast family meal on Sunday, May 8th. Unlike the chain's traditional fried chicken packaging, the lid of the new bucket includes a push button recorder for dictating thoughtful Mother's Day messages. The technology is similar to that of a recordable greeting card, however the interactive KFC bucket also comes with an meal on the inside.
Like previous promotions launched by KFC, the message-recording buckets give customers a new reason to visit the chain on holidays and special occasions.
