Luxury spirit brand Moët Hennessy is officially expanding its range of tequila offerings with the launch of 'Volcan X.A' The decision for the label to launch a new tequila shouldn't come as a major surprise, considering that the agave-based spirit has received a massive increase in consumer interest in last the last two years.
According to the company, Volcan X.A has been released to compete with other top-shelf tequilas such as Clase Azul and Don Julio 1942. Because of this, the spirit has been triple aged over a 36-month period, allowing it to deliver a smooth and sweet flavor profile with a complex aromatic taste.
“Throughout this process, we have continuously refined our craft and have ultimately produced a world-class ultra-premium expression. Volcan X.A is not only a Tequila, it is the creation of a unique profile, enhancing all the nuances from aging. We look forward to further sharing Volcan X.A with the world," said Santiago Cortina Gallardo, COO, and member of the board.
