'agus kim' is a design studio based in Valencia, Spain and has recently created the 'Moon' minimalist lighting collection for its client, Almerich. Constructed by creative designers, Maria Kim and Agus Garcia, the astral inspiration for this collection is simply the light that exudes from the full moon. Visually, the Moon minimalist collection resembles the various planets in the solar system reflecting off the illumination from the moon. The solar system is simulated through the design of the opaque white spheres that diverge in many sizes, also featuring unbalanced fixtures.
The agus kim set of lighting features three pieces: a floor lamp, a table lamp and an adjustable suspension lamp. While the illuminating settings recall the soft light of the moon, the minimalist collection also projects bold forms through its geometric design.
