There is nothing worse than a basketball hoop missing its net. A basketball hoop without a net is like a bird without wings: useless. Fortunately, artist Maria Molteni is attempting to solve this problem with MOLTENi NET WORKS, an art project that features participants hand-crocheting nets for empty basketball hoops.
MOLTENi NET WORKS is a grassroots project currently serving the area immediately around Molteni's apartment. MOLTENi NET WORKS has started a Kickstarter page asking for money to assist with the project -- $2,000, to be exact. Let's get this done; I can't play another pickup game in which my depth perception will be distorted.
