This modern townhouse design by architect Robert Davidov of Davidov Partners makes it seem as though the units are houses from the street. From the sidewalk, one of the most arresting details on the townhouse is a patterned screen that plays off of the original texture of the buildings.
From the back, this openness is carried though with areas that are directly accessible to the outdoors by sliding glass panels. Since the living room is configured this way, this makes it so that additional square footage can be added onto the interior as needed, which is especially handy when entertaining. Playing off a strong connection to the outdoors, the scheme on the interior is bright and airy, using a lot of white on walls, fixtures and furnishings.
