With a combination of virtual reality and augmented reality, prospective buyers are able to view properties in a mixed reality format from the comfort of their own home. The push for this kind of experience is drawn from peoples' desire to experience the whole ambiance of a space as well as its nearby attractions remotely.
President of Yungching Realty Group, Sun-Ching Yu says "With mixed reality, the whole world around you becomes your viewing screen enriched with information. It’s an entirely new level of immersive experience." The program, called iStaging, was displayed at a press conference that allowed guests to explore a neighborhood in Taipei called 'Little Europe.'
