As a part of this year's presentations at CES 2025 is Mirumi, which is an adorable clip-on robot that is designed to imitate the curiosity of humans. Visually, it has round eyes and soft fur, clinging onto the bags like a sloth would. It has lifelike reactions and aims to create joy.
Mirumi has a personality that is reflected through sensors and design as it has distance sensors to know when someone is approaching it. This way, it would turn its head accordingly but if it is touched or someone gets too close to Mirumi abruptly, it would back and shy away. The IMU, which stands for inertial measurement unit helps detect movement and looks around as it holds onto the bag.
