Nendo and COS Team Up to Design This Minimalist Grey Installation
Farida Helmy — April 10, 2014 — Art & Design
To start Milan Design Week 2014 with a bang, creative Japanese studio Nendo created a minimalist grey installation using steel frames and degrade monochrome shirts for COS.
Nendo's minimalist grey installation for the fashion brand is unique. The piece is designed in a way to accompany a series of white shirts hanging from a stand and hung from the ceiling.
"I feel that Nendo and COS have a lot in common with how we see things, simplicity, purity and focusing on the small details," says Nendo founder Oki Sato. "When you look at a white shirt from COS it explains so much, so I decided to let the shirt do the talking."
The shirts change colors from white to different shades of grey to portray how the simple shirt is the main piece of the COS collection.
