DuPont Corian material has been transformed from flat kitchen counters to dynamic 3-dimensional wall surfaces and seating. Amanda Levete Architects created these ultra-modern lounge spaces for Milan Design Week 2009.
Organic, flowing shelving units and benches are made of “Corian super-surfaces” material and were inspired by ‘a drop of water hitting the pond and creating ripples.'
The sleek white spaces have varied and twisted openings which allow dramatic lighting to seep through leaving an ever-changing impression. I love the small touches of red beverage glasses and bottles.
