Mike's Amazing Cakes Makes Metal Taste Great
Katherinev123 — October 9, 2009 — Lifestyle
Steampunk creations come and go, but it’s not often you see one you can actually eat. This steampunk cake from Mike’s Wedding Cakes in Seattle, although it may not look it, is 100% edible.
Mixing vintage with the future, the cake was created for Liz Spain and Austin Lamb’s wedding, and features metallic gears, doors, rivets, and panels made of fondant. Even though it looks as if taking a bite would give you a mouth full of metal, it apparently tastes pretty good, according to exoskeletoncabaret on her Flickr photostream.
