Burger King is Launching the Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich

Following the recent launch of several Italian-inspired chicken sandwiches, now it looks like Burger King is about to borrow from another cuisine with its new Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich.
Set to start rolling out in January of 2023, the new Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich aims to put a spicy twist on a fan-favorite sandwich. The dish will feature a lightly breaded chicken topped with ghost pepper cheese and crispy-fried jalapeños, all served n a soft sesame seed bun. Some eagle-eyed fans will notice that the Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich is essentially a sandwich version of the Ghost Pepper Whopper, but without the bright orange bun.
The new Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich can be found at participating Burger King locations nationwide beginning in the new year.
