The Garmin Connect service has been updated to provide users with menstrual cycle tracking capabilities, which will allow for a bevy of comprehensive insights for women to use.
The new update allows users to log their menstrual cycle and their symptoms that will be used to holistically track the woman's reproductive health. Users will receive predictions from the system for when they can expect to get their period and when they might be the most fertile.
Garmin VP of Global Consumer Marketing Susan Lyman spoke on the new menstrual cycle tracking update saying, "Cycle tracking was developed for women, by Garmin women – from the engineers, to the project managers, to the marketing team. In this way we could ensure that we were authentically addressing a woman’s actual wants and needs. Cycle tracking can be customized based on whether a cycle is regular, irregular, or transitioning into menopause. Users can track daily physical and emotional symptoms and even add their own notes."
