When you blend the dynamism of a digital picture frame with the pleasure that comes from flipping through fond memories found in family photo album, what you get is the Memory Clock.
Showcased at this year's SXSW Interactive, the Memory Clock developed by the Hakuhodo advertising agency is part of a series of "monom" projects aiming to deliver magic, marketing a message and movement. Rather than getting a random slideshow of pictures that are set to change at specific intervals, this clock is set to display photos that were taken on that same day they were taken years ago. Through either an app or a computer, the photo choices can always be updated. Since the display on the clock is digital, more customization comes into play since the arrangement of numbers can be formatted to one's preference.
