The memo app is an anonymous place for employees to speak their minds freely at work. Without compromising one's identity, the app makes it so that users can post to company-specific message boards, or share a post to all Memo users.
When logging in, the app encourages you not to be on your company's Wi-Fi network to protect your identity, although Memo does use LinkedIn to verify that you work where you say you do. In order to build a network to message within a company, the app makes it so that coworkers can be added to the app anonymously. Rather than having to come up with a clever, covert username, users on the Memo app are assigned an identity based on a number combined with their company's name.
