EXTREM's upscale meat packaging was designed by Lavernia & Cienfuegos in order to present the premium Iberian, acorn-fed ham like a decadent gift. The container for the meat is designed to be on the same level as other gourmet food items on the market, such as caviar and foie. In order to create this sense of luxury, the agency created a luxurious black dish to sit the slices of ham in. As a whole, the dish looks like a serving tray and it's beautiful enough to be served right out of it.
To top off the tray the design of EXTREM's packaging includes a small golden pig handle, which serves as the only indicator as to what you'll find inside the smooth matte black dish.
