Humanrace and adidas Launch a MAUBS NMD S1 Sneaker
Pharrell Williams' Humanrace brand continues to work closely with German sportswear giant adidas and this time, the duo launch a MAUBS iteration of the classic NMD S1 sneaker model. The shoes boast a minimal design language with canvas construction throughout the entire upper and then detailed with wavy Humanrace lettering in place of where the Three Stripes is usually placed.
It flows down the medial side of the shoe onto the toe box sections. It comes in a predominantly beige tone and is then detailed with Cobalt Blue as the contrasting hue. The shoes are secured by rope laces that rest on top of the knitted tongues in a slightly lighter color. It is then rouned out by a split-dyed rubber sole unit and branding on the outsoles.
