This fun DIY project puts an Independence Day spin on a popular mason jar luminaries craft. The mason jar luminaries make great summertime patio decor, as well as delightful Fourth of July party decorations.
To make these American flag-bearing luminaries, you will need to gather large mason jars and red, white and blue tissue paper. The tissue paper can be cut into strips of any shape and size and then hodge podged onto the exterior of the glass mason jar. When dried, a tealight candle is placed inside the jar.
