Rotterdam's gorgeous Markthal is a stellar example of what an aesthetically pleasing outdoor market should look like. Designed by MVDRV Architects, the building is in the shape of a giant arch and features constantly-changing LED landscapes.
Markthal in Rotterdam is far more than just an open-air market, however. The arch houses 246 residences, and there's both restaurants and a giant catering area situated on the main floor. Check out some other arch designs below.
Implications - For those consumers with a passion for nature and the environment, businesses that offer their services in an outdoor environment will be perceived as very appealing. These consumers will find that these organizations satisfy multiple needs and desires.
