As a label with its success based on the aesthetic appeal of body-conscious, skin-tight knitwear, it is great to see that the Mark Fast Spring 2012 collection does not stray too far away from that look. Actually, it doesn't stray away from it at all.
"The palette originates from sand tones in a desert landscape, then moves into gold fringing. We wanted to create movement over the body to emulate the force of a sand storm," explained the British designer. "We worked with yellow, orange and fuchsia and feathered printed neoprene to compose a tropical exotic surge of colour."
The most classic and characteristic pieces in the Mark Fast Spring 2012 collection are the nude colored knit dresses with fringe detailing. While orange and yellow shades certainly do stand out, it's Mark Fast's neutral hued crochet dresses that always set him apart from other designers.
