Chinese designer Mario Tsai is now introducing his 'Pig' side table inspired by the classic piggy bank. The childlike influence recalls a pig with a hat and the concept is infused in the table's design through its structural design. Tsai's new table serves to be more than just a surface, as it can function as a storage unit as well. The piece is constructed from an aluminum tube, which gives it space to store small household items.
The Pig side table is comprised of the aforementioned tube and a tray, all made from aluminum. It is made available in two varying sizes -- a 250 mm and a 200 mm version in terms of the tube's diameter. There is also a tonal selection of gold, silver, green, red or blue.
