This fun project by Joanna Bean Martin will spice up your dishware with a marbled effect. The best part is that it’s super easy to do, and requires very little materials that you most likely already have around your house.
All you will need is flat-bottomed glassware, a bunch of vibrant colored nail polish, clear nail polish, a disposable plastic container, nail polish remover, painters tape and some toothpicks. Essentially, the way it works is that you fill a plastic container with water, and then drip nail polish into it, one color at a time. Once you have layered the colors, one on top of the other, you simply take a toothpick and starting from the center, you create a swirly pattern. Once the pattern is created you simply dip your painter taped covered glass into the nail polish and let it dry.
