There's an industrial look to this marble light bulb fixture, yet aesthetically and materially, it's quite certainly stylish too. Yet again, Dan Yeffet has managed to establish harmony between bare-minimum components and high-quality production, ending up with these luxurious stone illuminators.
Called the D/Light, this piece consists of a stone base that's the shape of half of a capsule. Its rounded form has been polished perfectly smooth, revealing its exquisite natural patterns of marble veins. Nested within this is a yellow light globe that delivers a warm and diffuse glow, despite its lack of a lampshade. Mimicking warehouse-style pendant lamps, this marble light bulb design features a seemingly protective metal cage, completing a lighting object with an unexpected magnificence. It can be suspended from the ceiling or set down on a table on its slight flattened side.
