Those who participated in this month's New York marathon were met with an exclusive surprise, as the eye wear brand District Vision partnered with the Mindful Athlete Shop to offer consumers an immersive and educational marathon recovery pop-up space.
The space was filled with limited-edition running sunglasses, running-specific compression socks, nutrient-filled Matcha bars from Tea Dealers, "all natural sports fuel" from Maurten, as well as a panel discussion led by "one of the fastest runners in the World" and a Buddhist monk, who practices the sport as a meditative technique.
Avid athletes and those inclined to a more active lifestyle were invited to visit the shop, which opened prior to the annual New York Marathon.
