For the Spring/Summer season of 2017, the maharishi Africa collection was released.
Dubbed 'Tour d’Afrique,' the line features a number of lightweight button-up jackets, graphic tees, and pants. Fabrics are neutral hues, with black, khaki and white comprising the garments. In contrast to this, much of the artwork that's portrayed on the garments is incredibly colorful, especially in the case of the bright hues that mark out a geographical representation of West Africa. On the backs of the jackets, gold lettering spells out the phrase: "THE MIND CAN MAKE A HEAVEN OUT OF HELL OR A HELL OUT OF HEAVEN," in addition to the brand's name. On many of the garments, other graphics that were reportedly inspired by West African artworks are included.
Currently, the maharishi Africa collection is available from the brand's web store.
