Even though macarons regularly come in a beautiful array of different colors, this macaron recipe takes decorative confections to a new level. Made by the blog Sugar and Cloth, the DIY Potted Cactus Macarons are a fun baking project and craft at the same time.

To make your own at home, you'll need light and dark green edible markers, mini clay planters, mini dowel rods, brown sugar, gold spray paint and edible flowers as garnish.
