Co-Branded Luxury Basketball Shoes

French luxury fashion brand Balmain and sports label Puma join forces for a new basketball-themed collection, featuring a luxury basketball shoe called ‘Balmain Court.’ This is the second time that Balmain and Puma have collaborated, with the first being back in 2019. Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing spoke on the collaboration, saying: “Back in 2019, I worked closely with the PUMA team on a boxing-inspired Balmain x PUMA and obviously, I loved creating that capsule—but for this second time around, I really wanted to set our focus on the thrills of basketball.”

The collection will feature several basketball-themed items for fans to purchase including caps, tees, uniforms, varsity jackets, and a ‘Balman X Puma’ basketball. However, the standout item is still the Balmain Court thanks to its fun packaging, which is covered with basketball imagery. The design of the shoe contains a golden Balmain tongue label and a Balmain and PUMA heel webbing. Additionally, the shoe has Italian leather with athletic performative materials for muti-directional traction like high-rebound ProFoam and high-abrasion rubber. The collection will be available on February 18.
