The L'Officiel Manila May 2015 editorial put on by photographer Luis Monteiro did an exceptional job of artfully blurring images of model Kelsey Owens. Stylist Philippa Andren worked alongside the team that shot Owens in front of bright lights and dark city streets.
In spite of chaotic flashes of color, Andren's ensembles were unmistakable. This came of leather-lined one-piece suits, large wide-brimmed hats and formal dresses complete with turtleneck detailing.
Throughout this entire production, crimson hues were put on display. This was seen in the forms of light and dark red purses, oversize jackets and cut-out outfits. The daring color scheme worked well with Monteiro's images that played up on bright pops of orange, yellow and blue in the series.
