LỰU ĐẠN Delivers a New Collection for the SS23 Season
Menswear imprint LỰU ĐẠN introduces its latest collection designed for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. It is meant to capture the multidimensionality that exists in the realm of Asian masculinity. Founded by Hung La, the name of the brand stems from both the words "Bullet" and Pomegranate" to create this new identity.
The new capsule channels the limited tropes that are painted upon Asian men with a range of apparel that is culturally sound, modern, and provocative. La speaks to Vogue Runway about the collection, stating that “There’s so much subtlety to Asian male sexuality, [...] Yet in the West we’re either hyper-sexualized, like gangster villains, or effeminate. But there is so much more: sensuality, vulnerability, a love of family—you know?”
