LUAR Presents Its New Range of SS23 Designs on the Runway
Fashion imprint LUAR introduces its latest collection designed specifically for the Spring/Summer 2023 season on the runways of New York Fashion Week recently. The show took place at The Shed in New York City and it started as lights faded to black and silence took over the room.
The spotlight came on and highlighted the model entryway as the music began. The new capsule takes on the name LA ALTA GAMA, which means 'high-end' in Spanish, and embodied a strong attitude. Speaking about the inspiration, Raul Lopez states that “I was thinking of my family reunions in the 80s and 90s when Dominicans were migrating to New York and that sense of what they thought luxury was.”
