LootCrate Sends Out Nerdy Mystery Boxes Per Month to Members
Michael Hines — April 29, 2013 — Pop Culture
LootCrate is a monthly subscription-based service designed almost exclusively for geeks. Each month, LootCrate members will receive a mystery box filled with six to eight geeky items. These include, but are not limited to, shirts, food, gaming accessories and gadgets. Each box has a theme chosen by the team members. For example, April's theme is token, so the boxes are all filled with items inspired by classic arcade games.
A LootCrate subscription starts at $20 per month, longer subscriptions are available, and each month one member is randomly chosen to receive a MegaCrate with $250 worth of merchandise inside. You can check out the video for a behind-the-scenes look at the people and process behind LootCrate.
