Laura Hadland has taken an Internet sensation -- Pippa Middleton’s derriere from her sister’s royal wedding -- and recreated it in this giant, delicious portrait. Hadland used Marmite and crumpets to make this portrait and back shot of Pippa Middleton in her butt-hugging white dress.
To create such a large construction, Laura Hadland used over 15,000 crumpets, a large amount of butter, jam, Marmite and a sizeable team to help her set it up. The crumpet version of Pippa Middleton stands at nearly 13 meters by 20 meters and took Hadland and her helpers just over one day to finish it.
Beefeater Grill is the company that commissioned the work; its representatives were inspired by a poll that rated Middleton as the person most respondents would want to eat breakfast with. Pippa Middleton and her tush are trending right now, and combining her image in crumpet form only makes her sweeter in my eyes.
