The Lar Doce Lar (Home Sweet Home) project is a collaborative effort between multidisciplinary design firm Rosenbaum and TV producer Luciano Huck. Visiting dozens of homes in Brazil, the team conducted dramatic makeovers of both their interiors and exteriors. Although all the outcomes are noteworthy, one in particular stands out. The 48th home the Lar Doce Lar team visited received a unique outdoor vertical garden made out of plastic bottles.
Created for the Roberts Family, a single mother and her two daughters, the Lar Doce Lar's eco-friendly vertical garden encompasses their love of nature as well as their overall ecological awareness. Suspended in narrow walkway just outside the house, the garden has garnered so much attention, Rosenbaum released released design schematics to build one's own.
