Los Angeles and London-based designer Alexander Purcell Rodrigues designs the 'Lapis Side Table' for Link Outdoor. Link Outdoor tapped the award-winning designer to design unique side tables for charitable purposes since last year, and the Lapis Side Table is one of them. The collection that it falls under is entitled 'Jewel Tables' and each piece is auctioned off to raise money towards scholarships within the Dallas design community. The Lapis Side Table is constructed from reclaimed teak wood and powder-coated with cast aluminum materials.
The table draws inspiration from the cut and setting process of gemstones translated through the three teak facets that come together similar to a prong. The legs curve up from the bottom to come apart to hold the stones in place. The foundation is available in five powder-coated finishes -- Gun Metal, Bone White, Bronze Patina, and Antique Bronze. The table surfaces are made in either Natural wood, Oiled wood, or Weathered teak wood.
