The 'Oceanides' table collection has been designed by Alexia Mintsouli for Alexa Mint as a series of furniture pieces that highlight a natural aesthetic from both a figurative and literal perspective.
The tables come in two round versions alongside a square one, which are each crafted using Peloponnesian Tortora marble for the bases and legs. The top of each table is crafted with a blend of sea plants to give the various furniture pieces a distinct appearance that varies from example to example. The sea plant, formally known as Posidonia Oceanica and informally as Neptune Grass, traditionally goes to waste when harvested so the furniture gives it a newfound purpose out of the water.
The 'Oceanides' table collection showcases a connection to Greek mythology to give make the pieces a modernized classic in the home.
