These mobile health units have been designed by startup JUPE Health to help provide a space for healthcare workers to rest between shifts as they combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The units are intended to make use of technology from the automotive industry and feature a chassis that can be easily flat-packed in order to be mounted on a shipping truck for delivery where needed. Up to 24 of them could be stacked on a 40-foot flatbed truck, which would help to get them to hospitals that are in dire need of additional space for workers and patients alike.
The mobile health units from JUPE Health include the REST model for medical professionals to rest, the CARE model for non-critical patients and the PLUS that's ready for helping with critical care.
