Joe Dragt is an artist who paints his pictures onto old computer motherboards. The Arizona-based artist was inspired to start his aptly named 'Painted Circuit Board Series' when he was tasked by his day job with taking 30 computers to a recycling plant.
Dragt decided to take one of the computers home to see if they could be used as a canvas. Turns out they could be, as Dragt has created several stunning paintings using circuit boards as his canvas. I am a huge fan of the artistic upcycling of old computers, which is probably why I like the 'Painted Circuit Board Series' so much. If you're into killer computer art, be sure to check some of Joe Dragt's work here.
