Wendy's is Launching a Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sandwich and Salad

Wendy's is looking to bring more flavor to its menu with the introduction of two new spicy products, the Jalapeño Popper Chicken Sandwich and Salad.

Both offerings feature the chain's spicy fried chicken, which is topped with cheddar and pepper jack cheese, bacon, and a tower crispy jalapeños. The sandwich also includes jalapeño cream cheese, while the salad can be topped with jalapeño ranch dressing and cheddar croutons.

Carl Loredo, CMO of The Wendy's Company, spoke to the new menu additions in a statement that takes a jab at the chain's competitors, "While everyone else is playing catch up and distracting consumers with stale chicken drops, we are listening and bringing exciting flavors and bold ingredients forward to help fans avoid the McStake of settling for the same boring chicken sandwiches from other fast-food joints."
