Karen Mak's Adorable Dilbert Character is the Star of itsdilful
Amy Duong — October 21, 2020 — Art & Design
'itsdilfil' came into fruition with inspiration drawn from the adorable character 'Dilbert' created by illustration artist Karen Mak. 'DIL' is meant to represent the unique character and the rest references many other things -- "wonderful, awful, delightful." Karen began her journey in 2016, creating illustrations and sharing it on social media platforms.
Since then, it breached out to her own Etsy Shop. Today, itsdilfil has its own website and offers a selection of products that are mostly intricately crafted by Karen herself. Some of the products include high-grade pins, acrylic charms, regular soft matte stickers, and waterproof glossy stickers. The pins are made by hand by a collaborative manufacturer using die-struck iron metal and the charms are also crafted by hand.
