In an effort to contribute to its brand-building campaign “It’s time to smile,” Kodak has created a new ad spot featuring an animated young lady made of paper that has apparently lost her smile. She walks through a real living environment searching dismally for her smile. As luck would have it, she locates her smile within fun and exciting pictures of herself with family and friends from a digital photo frame.
The idea behind the campaign is that relationships with friends and family are important and technology is a great way to stay connected to those you love. I have to admit, the premise is creative and admirable.
