Isle of Barra Distillers has announced a new range of whiskeys that come as part of the western Scotland-based distillery's expansion into new territory. The new range includes the Barra Distillers Blended Scotch Whisky and 10 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, which each come in 700ml bottles with a 46% ABV. The Blended Scotch Whisky has notes of pancakes with golden syrup, spice and vanilla, while the 10 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky puts walnuts, flamed orange peel, red fruit and marzipan in the spotlight.
Co-Founder and Managing Director Michael Morrison spoke on the latest expressions from the Isle of Barra Distillers saying, "These two blended whiskies are the perfect celebration of new beginnings for Isle of Barra Distillers and for our island.
