Intuition by Carsten Witte is a series of photographs that displays the skull-painted faces of young and attractive women. The images are quite spooky to look at because of the black and white coloring and the deadpan expressions on the women's faces.
Witte's main idea behind this photo series was to show that beauty can and will fade faster than one thinks, but photography can "preserve the moment." Hopefully good looks don't fade as fast as the women in Intuition otherwise one's social life would come to a halt when they hit their mid 20s.
Intuition by Carsten Witte reminds one that beauty does in fact come and go in the blink of an eye. In that case, one must live in the moment and preserve that moment with photographs.
