CharlieHR's Instant Holiday Pop-Up Reminds Brits to Take Vacations
References: realbusiness
According to data collected by CharlieHR, an HR software system based out of the UK, 73 percent of Brits don't make full use of their vacation days, so the company created a pop-up called Instant Holiday to try and break that strange British habit. Buried in the Old Street tube station, Instant Holiday has all the classic features of a relaxing vacation, including sand, beach chairs, a tiki bar, and more.
Launched in early April, at the beginning of the traditional vacation season, Instant Holiday is a reminder to hard-working commuters of the joys of rest and relaxation. Aside from the faux-tropical environs, the pop-up includes a short VR experience to give those who stop by a more immersive mini vacation.
