The WNBA moves into Bradenton, Florida's IMG Academy before resuming the 22 games season that was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. IMG Academy is an elite boarding school that specializes in sports and was the location that the WNBA landed upon.
Players will reside in the hotel rooms or villas, or the Lodge on site as well -- the villas have full kitchens for those who prefer to cook. Players are also given the option to use food delivery services during the time in the bubble as well. At the location are approximately 300 people made up of staff, security, and people in the league with the prime focus on safety. Before checking in, everyone is tested and continue to be tested on a daily basis since arrival with personal thermometers connected to an app to test themselves and log results.
