The First Dedicated IKEA Restaurant Opened in Hammersmith, London

IKEA, the Swedish furniture giant well-known for its meatballs, opened the doors to the first-ever dedicated IKEA restaurant in Hammersmith. People in London can now flock to this permanent restaurant to enjoy Swedish dishes with prices starting at just £3.75. Naturally, the brand's famous Swedish meatballs are on the menu, as are other comforts like mashed potatoes and peas.

Additionally, fans of IKEA food will find items like tomato and basil pasta, fish and chips, and salmon with couscous on the bistro and café menus, as well as two cooked breakfast options.

On its opening day, the IKEA Hammersmith restaurant had over 1,000 customers on its first day, and an additional 5,000 over the weekend. For a limited time, IKEA Family Members can claim £5 off in-store when spending £5 or more at IKEA Hammersmith Restaurant on the same day.
