YOKU MOKU is well-known in Japan for its cigar sugar cookies, but now the brand is exploring new territory with an ice cream stick snack.
These cigar-shaped treats are nearly identical to the cookie form, except that these frozen treats are filled with ice cream. Just like a popsicle, each of the ice cream sticks are individually packaged, so that one can be enjoyed at a time without unnecessary melting. Another feature that helps with this is either a chocolate or a vanilla coating on the end of the sticks, which helps to seal the ice cream core.
These treats are only being made available online for the summer months and as much of the Japanese public is already familiar with the all-cookie version, people are extremely excited about this refreshing limited edition version.
