Hurricane Sandy may be over, but the devastation left requires continued support, which is why New York-based artist Sebastian Errazuriz has created the ‘I Still Love NY’ t-shirt to collect funds for those still feeling the effects of the storm.
A take on the iconic ‘I Heart NY’ logo by legendary designer Milton Glaser, the tees feature that same design with floodwaters added to reference the severe floods that New York and surrounding regions experienced. According to online shop Grey Area, where you can also purchase the shirt, “This idea occurred to him [Sebastian Errazuiz] after seeing the water line marked on the walls of the flooded galleries in New York’s Chelsea art district.”
100% of the profits from shirt sales will go directly to Hurricane Sandy relief programs across the east coast.
