Pharrell and adidas Unveil the Humanrace Sičhona in Black
Niko Pajkovic — November 12, 2021 — Fashion
Earlier this year, sportswear retailer adidas had teamed up with beloved musician Pharrell to launch the Humanrace Sičhona, which debuted with two vibrant color schemes -- Blue and Burgundy. Now, the company has announced the launch of a third version of the lightweight sneaker in an all-black colorway.
The new Humanrace Sičhona 'Black' features a Primeknit upper with Futurenatural for added elasticity and comfort and a sock ankle collar donning a grey tag. The sneaker is almost entirely blacked-out, except for a pastel pink Humanrace logo that is printed across its quarter panels.
According to Pharrell, the innovative shoe line was inspired by his friendship with the Native American Dakota tribe members, with the name "Sičhona" closely translating to "Barefoot" in their language.
